Those are pilgrims, settlers wore buckskin. Also the funny hats were made of half a small critter.(no buckle)

I suppose, but the tall socks and blunderbusses seem kinda sissy to me.

Trading beads for land only worked for so long, then the bead market dried up....

(agreed as to strategy, but your wife is sharp, you'll be OK)
