Sorry it was a bad day in vetland.

So...I'm the only cynical bastard who thinks the dog was just a slow learner?

Odysseus came back.

It's tragic, really, but you know you would love the dog.

If you wouldn't, there's sumthin wrong with ya.

He took his own sweet time.

I'd have bitten his bum and humped his leg, had I been Argos.

hump and bite would be the preferred sequence of operation.

bite first, and it would be nary impossible to get into a good humping position...

There was something I wanted to say about what I would have done if I were Penelope, too, that involved NO humping, but I just couldn't get my ducks lined up right.

I disagree. In Deconstructing Harry, Woody Allen asks cookie to tie him up, hit him a little bit, and then give him a blowjob.

"So you want me to tie you up, blow you, and then hit you?" says Cookie.

"No, hit be first, then the blowjob. Otherwise it's no fun."

What about tie you down, hit you, then blow you up?

So long as I'm being blown well, I'm not too particular about what direction it's being done in.

Hmmmmm...believe me, you don't want an air embolism there...does that happen to men? We are warned not to allow major blowings in our vaginas...but perhaps you fellas have a natural valve?

Quite lovely. A freshening dew on the morn, rising to a gentle midmorning fog. And then dissipated by the sizzling sun, soaking the green leaves in its glow until, world-weary, it rolled off the edge of the sky with a green-flash splash into the western ocean...

oooooooooO_________

...leaving us with warmth in the rocks and poached-ocean air that comes in on the breeze, telling of an afternoon of basking to the bristling black-cat night.

I do say I catch the slightest hint of autumn in the air tonight. Just a little tip-of-the-tongue taste of turning leaves and of hayseed pumpkin-rides and winter squash and new-made brownish beers and the fresh rot of the flooded corn crop.

Yes, fine weather indeed.

Fancy a cigarette?

Or a pipe?
