Got it!

Right: Cambodia it is!

But will I remember the right one at the critical moment?

What sort of critical moment are you envisaging, exactly?

Why the correct name with the appropriate person, of course!

I think I deserve the award for "LONGEST THREAD EVER" with my ingenious conception for the idea of this thread. Thank you.

Nevermind. Didn't even hit the 50k mark.

What have YOU done to make the thread longer?

You kept trying to kill it!

Yesterday, a friend of mine and I went walking in one of the most delightful neighborhoods that I have ever seen. Apparently the development, with each section built by a different company, sits on land that is 4,400 acres. Nearly 2,000 acres of that land is conservation area.

Each street is paralleled by a walking path which winds its way behind the houses. It is great because kids don't have to go on the streets to walk (or bike) to school. We just parked somewhere, and took the nearest path. Within a minute, it was as if you had entered a park hiking path, with trees and palmettos lining the path. In some places, it was really a wilderness.

We passed numerous ponds, and there was an occasional bench where we could refresh ourselves. Problem was, we didn't write down the name of the cross streets where we entered the trails. After walking for nearly two hours, we realized that we had no idea where the car was.

My friend had been to this area before, so she knew how to get to the clubhouse, and we got a map. Problem was, all the streets were named in a particular area was named for a particular bird. We had wandered into the "heron" area, so the streets were named heron this, heron that, etc.

We had noted the cross streets, but the names sounded all alike, and since we had not written it down, we couldn't even tell the joggers that we stopped where we were located, so that they could give us directions.

Anyhow, after about 2 1/2 hours of walking, we finally found the car.

I will be going again, but next time I am bringing a map, and my GPS! Rolling Eyes

We had thought about breadcrumbs, but there were so many birds, that they probably would have been eaten as soon as we put them down! Laughing

Hmmmm......I don't think one can be said to have contributed to something when one's attempts to kill it accidentally result in its thriving!!!!!

no way is this the longest thread, crayon. Although it may qualify as the longest one with no purpose.

I think it can.

I say it'd hit 100k views in a bit.

Who said you pissed off the goddam rabbit?

The goddam rabbit decides who pisses her off.

What in the name of god is your avatar all about, patiodog? It looks like a small soldier carrying a rifle with a fire burning behind him and the whole event takes place in an opaque skull.

Am I correct?

That's a damn good interpretation, gus.

I really don't know what it is. I just put it up there and there it stays.

(And here I am entreating reg to take down his disturbing boston. Who the hell am I?

Seriously, who the hell am I? I can't find my wallet...)
