That whooshing sound is that joke going over my head.
You have to go back a page or two, Jespah. When I wrote Crocodile Dundee, I mistakingly type Crododile Dundee.
Merry Andrew was correcting me in a most subtle and gentle manner.
anyone got tips on meeting strangers lol? Like I have no problem takling to people when I have to, but I don't like going out of my way to talk to people. Do you guys have any suggestions?
all you have to do is go up to someone and ask, "Do i have the power to end a thread? ^^"
its a guaranteed ice-breaker...

That's very true. But the downside is, then you'll never get rid of the other person. That conversation, so innocently started, will go on forever and ever.
I know, sooo do I get the award for the longest thread about nothing with no agenda and no goals?
Hell, no. Have you looked at the intelligent design thread?

Myself, I've tried to avoid that one. It is, obviously, not intelligently designed.
Granted, it has the appearance of agendae and goals, but one can only surmise, given the hopelessness of the line of discussion ever leaving its endless orbit, that the participants in fact have no hope of reaching these goals. Thus, they can really have no goals at all, any more than we can say that Sisyphus's goal was to push the rock up the hill.

Why do you hate Sisyphus?
I don't hate Sisyphus. Or Tantalus, for that matter.
Why would you think I hated Sisyphus?
Why indeed. Perhaps because he did not end this thread?

Because you questioned his motives for invading...I mean for rolling the stone up the hill.
Here is a sure way to end this thread, Let's talk about A2K meeting in Barcelona in 2007....

I think we can also end it by trying to play Balderdash.
You know that's not true!
I don't feel very powerful...
