I was cutting a tomato and sliced a flap of skin on my left index finger. Not good for playing guitar, the strings keep getting caught under the flap. Band aid... too clumsy. Liquid Band aid? Won't hold. So I said screw it, pushed down the flap of skin and superglued it. Perfect. Another dilemma solved by technology.
I do that all the time. It cures cuts, flaps of skin, dried cuticles... you can't beat it.
I'd try it myself, if I could get the damn cap off.
Used my teeth to get the cap off...haven't said a word since.
Yeah, what is up with those little tubes of super glue...one time use I say. Once you use it, the top is glued on forever. And what keeps the super glue from sticking to itself? Or the inside of the tube? Huh? Huh?
i think you are mistaken:

My surgeon told me that it, or something very much like it, is used quite regularly in certain operations.
I used it yesterday, to do a quick repair job on one of my walking boots.
Damn near welded my boot to the worktop in the shed.

Yes!
But it keeps us all humble. Especially, those of us with the grace to fall flat on our faces.
