The "Dog" you refer to is Sets Son, sent to earth in canine form so you can gaze upon Him and converse with Him without bursting into flame. ...in Kobe, where in certain restaurant windows, there are little plastic dishes of little plastic replicas of Tofu Stetsons, so you can see what they serve before you enter.
