Hi. Does anyone know how to translate the phrase:
You, and no other.
and/or:
Nothing less than forever.
I truly appreciate any help!
Tu, et non alius (if addressed to a male)
Tu, et non alia (if addressed to a female)
Nihil minus quam semper
Thank you so very, very much!!!!!!
I took a gander at your profile. I am currently working toward becoming an english lit. teacher. How did you like it?
I've always been very intrigued by latin. I would like to learn. Any suggestions?
I liked the teaching part of it, but I just don't have the temperment to be
a disciplinarian. I still have many happy memories of those days (and
some nightmares as well!).
I've heard of folks teaching themselves Latin, but it would be just about
impossible for me. I'd recommend finding a basic course so that you get
the fundamentals down in a structured environment with a teacher
available for questions.
In my case, I had four years of high school Latin and some college
courses as well. Plus I was in Catholic schools back in the days of the
Latin liturgy.
Good luck!
