Can we build the definitive list of collective nouns for all creatures on the planet? ( maybe a bit ambitious)
Some to get you going: An intrusion of cockroaches, a flamboyance of flamingoes, a pandemonium of parrots, a shrewdness of apes.
Are there any you don't know that somebody else might?
Have fun.
Don.
A yip of chahuahuas.
A pack of camels?
New entry.
A yip of chahuahuas. New to me, it's on the list now!
A train, or caravan of camels i have, as well as a puddle of puppies!
i think "knot"
A slither of snakes? I think "knot" or even nest
Is this supposed to be REAL collective nouns?
I was just making stuff up.
If we can make stuff up....
.... even though it isn't an animal.....
How about a "crumble of crybabies"?
i'm a sorry believer
"pack of camels" missed the gag first time, sorry, laughing now!
I take it i am humbly removing yip from my list as i believe everything i read!
