i think that if you don't believe in the bible, then you are kindof stuck as an athiest - what is there to think about in the after life? we all want to know what will happen when we die, so then there is only the big bang theories. and i seriously think that dinosaurs didn't exist. it just doesn't fit. i think there's something wierd with those giant bones - i don't know, too much calcium?
Lucifer? is that a light of some sort?

That is definitely how lucifer could get the most evil done and get the most people to follow him, by being Jesus. But people won't see the truth in this statement. The'll just say " Oooohhh, How could you say such a thing. Thats bad." To act like there "good" people and to preserve there place in Heaven instead of actually making the sacrifices and thinking it takes to really be a good person.
Jesus Lucifer or Morning Star or Helel, a demon.
The proper message is that Jesus is a man who championed the poor but the Gospels made him a god especially the Joker John with 'In the beginning the Word was with God' nonsense and Revelation which identified Jesus as Morning Star'. Christianity brought both good and evil. The evil part is that Jesus is worshipped as god and wholesale raiding of the Old Testament to fit an intolerant agenda.
As to Jesus will open the gates to heaven is baloney.
well, Jesus was the son of God, so therefore isn't he partly?
also, people say that God used is power to basically make an earthly version of himself, i.e. Jesus was God.

I'm not stuck at all. There is no reason to believe the bible, and it is laughably implausible at all events. I have no expectations for any "life" after death, the proposition is absurd. I exist in the here and now, and devote my attention to that.
The "big bang" refers to a theory of cosmic origins, which is as irrelevant to me as is the proposition of an afterlife. I accept that i am here, and don't need to know the origin of the cosmos to live happily, just as i don't need a fear of an "afterlife" to needlessly introduce anxiety into life. Your inability to conceive of dinosaurs says nothing on these topics, although it does demonstrate the extent to which you are divorced from reality. I suspect you are still a very young girl, and not very well educated.
Helel, son of Shahar, was also a son of a goddess Shahar but is a demon.
oh, excuse me? i always thought you were a nice person, Setanta, but when you post i must advise that you cut down on the rude, inapropriate language! My parents have always sent me to a good school, i get some of the top marks, and others jokingly laugh at me because my use of language is better! and by the way, i'm in an orchestra, string orchestra, sports, Gondwana Choir, Sydney Childrens Choir, school choir, Madrigal group, Duke of Ed and i can't remember the rest.
i'm sorry, but please don't pick on me because i'm different from you! i never mean my comments rudely, so i hope that soon you will come to understand that.
oh, and debating, and chronicle, and Tae Kwon Do, and the Red Shield Appeal and i'm going to sing in the commonwealth games.
i don't want to seem like i'm boasting, but i get offended easily
When you take a position that slightingly refer to big bang as opposed to a demonic god then you are in an arena.
well, however bad my comment was, it was just an idea, and i didn't think others would think of it that badly. and after all, my family's REALLY religious, and you're allowed to state your opinion, so i just said it.
mans- From your remarks I get the idea that you are a very, very young person. You are dealing with adults on this forum. Many of them have a lot of knowledge and experience in life.
If you are really smart, you would attempt to absorb what people are saying to you. As a child, one tends to listen to what has been told to them by adults, mainly their parents. When a person matures, he begins to question what he has been taught, and hopefully will start to think for himself.
One of the hardest things for a young person to learn, is that maybe what he has been taught as a child may not necessarily be the truth, but is the truth as understood by the child's parents. It is up to the young person, to learn as much as he can, and then develop his own concept of the truth.
This may be your first experience with realizing that there are people in this world who do not think as your parents do. This realization can be quite traumatic at first. If you want to learn and grow as a person, just try to absorb what you can, and try not to take what you perceive as abrasive so personally!
okay. well, i'm not that young. my age group is BoredofStudies, so perhaps i'll go there, and stop here.
mans, I suggest Phoenix is too kind in reference to your embolden impudence.
Why would Jesus be against any of this? If there is a Jesus, we technically first began by "God" creating the world (if you believe in creationalism). But technically, if there was a 'Jesus', he would be fine with whatever we did- we would be his children, and he our father. Like a father, he would not care what we did- he would still love us.
