i've screwed up alot in my past few months and i dont want to screw up this one, i want to be funny ,etc , or what should i do??

Be yourself, if you can feel yourself getting to bursting point wit enthusiasm/ immaturity or innapropriate behaviour try and calm yourself down, doing/saying nothing is probably better than doing/saying something youll regret.
Listen to the other person, ask related questions, dont lie.
be honest about everything :S
