Should I take my hair down? It seems a little formal for an all-nekkid party.

It might be of minor interest, but I'll be in Boston in June 07 for a couple of days.

It's certainly of MAJOR interest, Walter. Now I have to rearrange my calendar to see if I can postpone the mounteering trip to Tibet. Smile

Great. Keep us posted.

Walter, please don't take offense at my laast comment. None was intended. I was poking fun at us bostonians.

Osso - hair weekend?

Don't make me look it up. Some of us remember no one from Boston met Kitchen Pete, and one of the excuses, not the only one, was a poster washing her hair.

It was pretty embarassing, apparently mostly for those of us just sort of noticing from afar, who'd hoped he get along.

Granted, life is more complicated than hair washing and strangers landing. But KP had been trying to work a get together prior to that, for what seemed like weeks, with, I think, no one answering, many posts.

Lot of us like KP.

Thus, a certain piquance re meeting in Boston, re a2k history.

Ah.... I did respond to him. And, I would have liked to have met him. I can't remember exactly why no one managed to make plans with him.

Some of the rest of us remember hair washing.

And, I can easily understand a night at home and hairwashing... might have been you, lil'k. But, no one met this great guy, after several overtures by him.

And apparently they didnt' just say why not beforehand.

So... some remember this, including euro folk.

I have heard that there were meet-ups for the old Abuzz. I never went to one but I heard they were pretty weird.

Did that meet up ever take place? I read through much of the thread and it seems most people didn't make it.

Nevertheless of Pete's experiences, I'll go to Boston next June (and Chicago and New York).

I'm not British, perhaps that helps. (Though A2K'ers neither there nor in Albuquerque didn't mind  )

I read through the thread quickly and didn't find the hairwashing thing, which, g'knows, I wouldn't have made up. Oh, well. I'll issue a qualified apology, short of a short medium long apology.

I recall I was in SQL class when KP came to town -- which is done -- anyway -- June '07. Yeah, I think that can happen.
