Merry Andrew and Seaglass cordially invite you to join them at the Grand Chau Chow in Boston's Chinatown at 2pm, February18. All that plan to attend please hold up their hands. We need a minimum of at least 10 people to make a reservation. Many thanks to the lovely Lil'k (the Perle Mesta of Boston A2k) for her research and help in getting this shindig organized, her knowledge of the area for transportation and parking and soothing of brows et al.
Let's hear it for Lil'k!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs & Kisses
Merry Andrew and Seaglass

I didn't do anything but start the thread!
I'm in! That weekend works better than the one before it, for me.
Just need to be reminded.

Unfortunately, we've got A2K-visitors staying at us that week, celebrating some birthday(s) exactly that day ... Sorry, I can't join.
Have a nice time, though!

c'mon issy, it's a Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Print out good directions from mapquest or some other site and take a chance. Dim Sum is wicked good. I once ate chicken's feet and had no idea I was doing so

The chicken, however, was pretty ticked off.

Give thought to taking the T (Chinatown Station, Orange Line).
Driving in Chinatown is an exercise in frustration.
Note that the restaurant is on Beach St.
That's the street with the big Chinese gate at one end.

Ah - now I know where you mean. Used to go to a Viet place on that same street, It's called Pho Hoa.
I wouldn't suggest it for this go-'round but we might want to check it out for a future gathering as the food is good, cheap and plentiful.

Chinatown is easier to get to than Alewife for a blond who can't navigate around very well. Getting back to the highway may be trickier.

My buddy used to drive over that curb all the time. I think it's blocked now. At least the construction down there sucks shemale balls.

oooooh, the Pho Hoa! Haven't thought of that in years. Is it still there? Avocado milkshakes!
