I kind of forgot about this. Who all is coming? Not to imply that who is coming would affect my decision to come.

Two pages "Reader's Guide to Boston" in the travel section of today's Guardian, btw.

How about meeting in Harvard Square 6:30 Wednesday (June 6)?
I can make reservations for 7:00 at John Harvard's Brew Pub.

I'll talk to RP but that looks feasible from this end. He and I would be coming from the seaport area.

I usually don't get out of work until 6:30, but I'll make a request to leave early. Otherwise John Harvards sounds very doable to me - it's a few blocks from home.

Sorry, Walter, you'll need to make a separate trip to the Galapagos <grin>

I suppose, I can't do that with a Zone1A ticket.

Is the Harvard Square area where I should be looking for a hotel?
The air fare looks reasonable from Cville to Boston. The most promising one, though, involves a 3 hour layover in DC on the way back.

Charles Hotel is two blocks from there--probably price-y. There's a b&b about a five-ten minute walk, can find contact info for you if you need it.

Thank you. I would appreciate that.
I use a travel search thingee called sidestep.com and they ask for an area of town or a landmark. I punched in Harvard Square only because a pub was mentioned there earlier on in this thread.
