Viruses could be one trigger for Cancer.

It appears that viruses, together with other factors may be behind a large perentage of cancers.

The area where Burkitt's lymposa occurs correspondences to the areas where Malaria occurs in West Africa, researchers also discovered that most patients with the condition also had the Epstein-Barr virus.

This has lead some researchers to believe that if a vaccine could be found against certain viruses, it could reduce the number of cancers cases.
