College sophomore stumps Bush on film

At a recent speech, a college sophomore asked the following question of Bush:

Quote:
Q: My name is Tiffany Cooper. I'm a sophomore here at Kansas State and I was just wanting to get your comments about education. Recently 12.7 billion dollars was cut from education. I was just wondering how is that supposed to help our futures?

His response is fantastic. Click on the picture in the link to see it for yourself. She clearly caught him way off guard, and watching him stumble through his response is a sight to see.

oh my. Bush's response was, well, certainly remarkable. Not in a good way.

What a schmuck! Didn't he (or his handlers) realize that if he were speaking at a college, that this question (or something like it) could be anticipated?

Is he conducting his presidency half asleep?

Yet many would claim that this man is clever enough to orchestrate the 9/11 attacks.

No, but he's dumb enough to strike back at the perpetrators, by attacking Iraq.

Nah, Dick Cheney handled that.

Loved the comments on the page. "My 14 year-old sister could stump this chump!"

Throughout history there have been leaders with limited intelligence and almost unlimited power.

That is a bad combination, a ticking time bomb. It always ended badly, if I recall correctly.

I'm afraid that is no longer a viable option. A bush licker just won the election.

He seemed nervous during much of the question period. He actually took a whole 13 questions before he told his audience of 6000 that he had to go to dinner. The missus was cooking dinner for a party and he had to be there.

He also said that some U.S. border guards are actually concerned with catching illegal aliens.

He mention that there is a long, long border to defend against Canada and Mexico. Especially Mexico where illegal aliens are coming across to work illegally in the U.S. He proposes that there be a fool-proof identity card so that the illegal aliens can legally enter the U.S. to work and then go back.

There was more, but I laughed too hard to remember anything else.

Come to the United Kingdom instead. You can be assured by law that your child will be given a proper Christian education, that the public train transport will not run on time if there are leaves on the line, snow on the line, in rain, in good sunshine, and that the Labour Party will introduce a bizarre mix of left-wing and right-wing policies that will make you question exactly what side of the political spectrum they stand on.

Yet we have 40% of the American people who remain blindly loyal to this maniac. Stick a fork in us, we are done.

Isn't that the truth, Roxxanne. And those 40% are either rich or stupid.

Or scared.

There are no other categories.

Someone has be the sane ones in our society. So it's only 40%. That seems to be enough to allow the other 60% to carry on being oblivious to world events. Oblivious or stupid. There are no other categories.

They are handing out student loans hand over fist. I've got them out the wazoo.

That's probably why he was stumped. He didn't want to call her a liar. I think her facts are a bit incorrect. They may have cut something, but not student loans.
