Setanta,

We are not talking about "getting it (God)" here.

I understand quite well what the clown does not seem to undertand, which is MOAN's attempt to create an analogy between a physical disability and an unwillingness to share her imaginary friend superstition is a complete failure.

I'm not surprised to see those who share her imaginary friend superstition, however, claim that the nonsensical makes sense. ITOO at least has the honesty to admit that she does not intend to read anything which might convince her otherwise.

Setanta,

Uh, what about Doktor S? What about Sozobe? They got the basic concept I was trying to relate.

I have already told you the disabilities themselves had nothing to do with why non-believers..........oh nevermind. You won't accept my word to it anyway.

Momma Angel,

As Sozobe said, I'd never ask for evidence of God's existence. I know you believe. And I respect your faith in God.

And I agreee with you when you say this,
Momma Angel wrote:
sakhi and nimh,
Many times I have been asked to explain God or an experience with God or how I knew it was God in my life. I tried and I tried and I tried. I cannot make someone else experience God by explaining my experiences to them. Now, some on here keep asking for evidence, etc. But, the standards of evidence cannot admittedly be adhered to in trying to explain God. I admit that. I accept that. I have no problem with you telling me that.

But this one....
Momma Angel wrote:

No matter what anyone does, how they explain it, etc., you cannot make Charlotte see the color red because she is colorblind. It has nothing to do with her willingness, etc. She can be told over and over again that yes, red does exist, and she can accept that there is a color red, but you still cannot make her see the actual color red.

This analogy is a bit jarring though....it seems as though you are trying to say that atheists are "blind"..
...
take care Smile
