aktorist,

Reason is more true than God? Oh boy, God is the ultimate authority. He created everything. He's like, the Big Guy?!

Then ask God why there are three generations of particles.

http://particleadventure.org/particleadventure/frameless/three_gen.html

There are three "sets" of quark pairs and lepton pairs. Each "set" of these particles is called a generation, or family. The up/down quarks are first generation quarks, while the electron/electron neutrino leptons are first generation leptons.

Why are there exactly three generations of matter?

The generations increase in mass and higher generation particles tend to decay into lower generation particles. In the every-day world we observe only the first-generation particles (electrons and up/down quarks). We do not know why the natural world "needs" the two other generations, and we do not know why there are exactly three generations in total.

I don't like the way that was worded. Something can't be 'more true' as true/false is a necessary bifurcation.
Reason is not true. Reason /leads/ to truth.
Reason has not as of yet lead us in the direction of deity. Nothing is explained by 'deity' that is not better explained by something else.
Reason leads to truth. Reason does not/has not lead to god/s. Not for those that are intellectually honest.
Perhaps one day a body of evidence will be uncovered to change this fact, but that day isn't today.

Intrepid I know you meant this as a joke. But I can't laugh at someone else's expense. Friend or foe I still believe we all deserve the same respect. Please excuse me as I'm in an ultra sensative state right now. LOL I can't seem to bust out of this... aaarrrrggghhh... so I'll simply go on. Don't know what else to do at this point...

Okay, God says that the Earth revolves around the sun!
And that dinosaurs don't exist
WE MUST AGREE!</sarcasm>

NO.
Everything about the general world so far has been contrary to the bible.

Can you trace this belief back to a source?
Why do you believe all people equally deserve respect?

To follow the facts. To seek the truth. To do so without actively engaging in self deception masked as rationalization masked as rational. To do so with logical and realistic methods.
Being intellectually honest is also being willing to accept better information even if it replaces a foundational belief.

Hmmm... This is a good question dok...

Because I believe every person has value and worth.

Just because I respect the person doesn't necessarily mean I respect all their actions.

We can't just believe anything. We need evidence. Evidence leads to truth. And not faith.

Why do I care about beliefs?
Because beliefs shape our world. Faulty beliefs make a faulty world.

I have no problem with that Doktor S. The problem I do have is those that think they should decide for me what is or what is not intellectually honest.

How do YOU determine what are faulty beliefs?

It's in the method. If it is irrational, it can't by definition be intellectually honest.
The day you can make that belief rational is the day you will be free of self deceit.

What does not lead to truth. Faith does not lead us to truth.

I am speaking about the world.

FAULTY BELIEFS MAKE A FAULTY WORLD

And of course, your faith is faulty. All faiths are faulty.

And you, of course, know my heart and mind and know that I am self-deceived? Hmmmm. Seems to me that this may just be an opinion of yours. Either that or you really do think you are god and know it for a fact?

Hold up a second though. Haven't we been around this mountain before? I can't remember if it was you or not though. Do you believe the only way to find truth is through scientific methods?

Oh to answer your question about what is the source of my belief:

Again another good question. Though my source may be called into question here. Because in my experience there has always been more to the people I've met, talked with, ect... than what they show you on the outside.
