Gosh, if you can move to impeach a President over lying about a situation he should have NEVER been asked about in the first place, you should be able to impeach one over far more serious lies that were told not only by the President but his entire administration.

Can't. One word. Cheney. Now, if you could get around him...then what?

Just heard, it looks like my stepdaughter, a Sgt. in the Army, will be heading back to Iraq at the end of the year. Is there any possibility that this **** will be over with before then?

BVT...after a while it becomes senseless ranting on your part and loses whatever strength it may have at one time had when you post one thing after another about someone you happen to not like. Bottom line is this: Bush is doing an excellent job and people are essentially happy with him.

One other thing...what do the Democrats have to offer that is any better? Just as I thought..they have nothing.

You're right. At least, for this next election. And that is very scary.

No, keep up whining about impeachments that will never happen and conspiracy theories so that you'll be totally unprepared for the next election.

calm down sturgis and quit kissing bushs' ass with YOUR pointless sucking up, which is as counterproductive and senseless as any rant I might put out.... people are NOT essentially happy with bushco as polls and reports indicate and as far as what the democrats have to offer better, you don't know and wouldn't admit to if it was stuffed in your face anyway.

You think bush walks on water for whatever your personal reasons are, go ahead. It doesn't change anything.

Well which is it BVT...am I kissing his ass or sucking up?

Anywho...the final matter here is still, and it may well always be, that the Democrats have nothing in their own arsenal to counteract whatever problems they have with President Bush and/or The Republicans. Don't deny it BVT since your only response to my saying that they have nothing is apparently to tell me that I don't know what they have. If they have something and you do know of it then by all means present it. I may not agree with it, but at least if you post it, others can respond.

I want Bush (and Brandon and Sturgis) to keep on keepin' on until 2008. They keep pushing more and more to the extreme side of things.

Since we are going that way anyway ... and the pendulum will inevitably swing sooner ... the further things are pushed, the stronger the swing in our direction and the more certain it will happen in 2008.

I love hearing Sen. Specter talking about having wiretap hearings and I love self-righteous investigations of the whistleblower who let us know about them.

I love the repeated discussion of Republican corruption.

I love the House immigration Bills that makes it illegal for Churches to aid poor migrant farmers.

I hate the war in Iraq and secret torture prisons. But the fact the right's justification of the war and their rationizations of the cost is becoming more and more transparent means the public will wake up again.

I agree with Sturgis about the Democrats, my biggest fear is a Hillary nomination.

But the public is starting to see the ugly extremism in the right... and this is a good thing.

An impeachment will be a distraction.

The Democrats should let the Conservatives unravel and work on putting forward a progressive platform for 2008 (and 2006).

That is crazier than anything I have ever written, including the incident with the chupacabra eating my left testicle.

At least my story had an element of believability to it.

What kind of finger food do you like? There'll be lots of parties.

Only whackos consider impeachment as even close to being logical. You keep going from one complaint to another that will lead the Democrats to the promised land of impeachment or whatever to get their power back. What is it you are going to impeach him on next week, or the week after?

okie, we are not that concerned with Bush's impeachment. It is not a plan that would accomplish much.

Threads like this are started because we all have raging fires of hatred that burn inside us. Bush is the fuel. When the fires abate to a dull roar and need to be stoked, someone will mention Bush.

Simple as that.
