Here I have two names of Israeli parties, i.e. Herut Party and Gahal, what do they mean? I'd appreciate your help.
Thanks Sad

From wikipedia:

Herut

Gahal

Or did you want a literal translation of the words themselves?

According to the links which Individual posted (sheesh):

Herut means freedom

and

Gahal is an acronym, a kind of abbreviation . . .

Wikipedia wrote:
(. . . acronym for Gush Herut-Liberalim) was a right-wing Zionist party formed in 1965 by members of the Herut and Liberal parties.

Please note, Fansy, that the words Herut and Gahal in the post in which Individual responded are blue--that means they are links--if you click on them, you will be taken to the Wikipedia page which describes the party name you click on.
