Tico,
I would strongly suggest you just avoid mags.
She has been proven to be a hateful, spiteful, old woman that laughs when soldiers die,and actively roots for more to die.

Her hate for anything republican is so deep that she would cheer if every republican on the planet dropped dead.

She has gone so far as to actually tell a FL congressman that happened to be a republican that "a bullet was to good for him".

I think wowo or whatever his name is has a real problem. I suggest taking the day off with a good sedative and some soothing Bob Dylan anti war songs to put him or her mellow again.

Good idea EdgarBlythe.

MASTERS OF WAR

Bob Dylan

Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks

You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain

You fasten the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud

You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead

Now when I was a young man I carried me pack
And I lived the free life of the rover.
From the Murray's green basin to the dusty outback,
Well, I waltzed my Matilda all over.

Then in 1915, my country said, "Son,
It's time you stop ramblin', there's work to be done."
So they gave me a tin hat, and they gave me a gun,
And they marched me away to the war.
And the band played "Waltzing Matilda,"
As the ship pulled away from the quay,
And amidst all the cheers, the flag waving, and tears,
We sailed off for Gallipoli.

And how well I remember that terrible day,
How our blood stained the sand and the water;
And of how in that hell that they call Suvla Bay
We were butchered like lambs at the slaughter.
Johnny Turk, he was waitin', he primed himself well;
He showered us with bullets, and he rained us with shell --
And in five minutes flat, he'd blown us all to hell,
Nearly blew us right back to Australia.
But the band played "Waltzing Matilda,"
When we stopped to bury our slain,
Well, we buried ours, and the Turks buried theirs,
Then we started all over again.

And those that were left, well, we tried to survive
In that mad world of blood, death and fire.
And for ten weary weeks I kept myself alive
Though around me the corpses piled higher.
Then a big Turkish shell knocked me arse over head,
And when I woke up in me hospital bed
And saw what it had done, well, I wished I was dead --
Never knew there was worse things than dying.
For I'll go no more "Waltzing Matilda,"
All around the green bush far and free --
To hump tents and pegs, a man needs both legs,
No more "Waltzing Matilda" for me.

So they gathered the crippled, the wounded, the maimed,
And they shipped us back home to Australia.
The armless, the legless, the blind, the insane,
Those proud wounded heroes of Suvla.
And as our ship sailed into Circular Quay,
I looked at the place where me legs used to be,
And thanked Christ there was nobody waiting for me,
To grieve, to mourn and to pity.
But the band played "Waltzing Matilda,"
As they carried us down the gangway,
But nobody cheered, they just stood and stared,
Then they turned all their faces away.

And so now every April, I sit on my porch
And I watch the parade pass before me.
And I see my old comrades, how proudly they march,
Reviving old dreams of past glory,
And the old men march slowly, all bones stiff and sore,
They're tired old heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask "What are they marching for?"
And I ask meself the same question.
But the band plays "Waltzing Matilda,"
And the old men still answer the call,
But as year follows year, more old men disappear
Someday, no one will march there at all.

Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda.
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?
And their ghosts may be heard as they march by the billabong,
Who'll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me?

Interesting how the right defends Bush's military record while denigrating for political purposes any Democrat who honorably served. Of course, there may be individual righties who do not participate in this activity, but I have not seen many of them decrying the practice either.

Interesting how the left attacks Bush's military record, including his honorable discharge, for political purposes.
Yet,they defended Bill Clintons choice to dodge the draft, flee to England, lead anti war protests in the Soviet Union, and otherwise denigrate the military.

Clinton openly disapproved of the Vietnam War and acted accordingly. He did pretty much what I did, once I left the Navy. Bush did not speak against the war, but left others to do the fighting and dying - and didn't have the loyalty to his job and country to see it through to the end of his hitch. While liberals speak of Bush's service record to political ends, there is also genuine disgust for his actions.

As a result of his actions, he became Commander-in-Chief of all the armed forces. Seems like his plan worked out pretty well for him. Naysayers just like to talk bad about his initial service because they don't like him... No real reason.

Bush became commander in chief because the media gave him a pass and Gore screwed up royal in his campaign strategy, not because he, Bush, was worth a **** at anything in particular.

Winning? I didn't know that Vote fraud was considered winning.
One time appointed by Daddy's boys.... obviously lost.
Second time brazen Vote fraud.

You can wink all you like Tico but you will have to pay for the results too.

Man, you're all about the wild and unproveable accusations, aren't you? He won ... twice. You lost ... twice. But don't get over it ... just be bitter.

I don't believe Bush won either election, but, the fraud aside, the opponents should have run better campaigns and not needed the votes they were cheated out of. Particularly the first time around. Gore should have won by a landslide against the most bumbling candidate anyone could have dreamed up instead of needing Florida. I fault the Gore campaign as much as the cheating that went on in Florida.
