Bartikus,

You have nothing to apologize for. I have reported this to the moderators.

Hopefully, something will be done soon.

Dear God ... Please quit killing our troops. You're suppose to be on our side because we are holy Christians following Christs teachings to hate and kill our enemies. You're supposed to be killing those awful Islamic Arab bastards. Get off your ass and shape up!!

Thanks!

You can only say this because you don't believe God exists! Your counting on it.

You could never say these things to his face. Your face would be on the floor...in trembling.

Even those who don't believe in an almighty God....knows this to be true.

Er...no.

NOBODY "knows" this to be true.

Theists may BELIEVE it to be true.....but nontheists, by definition, do NOT believe it, and they certainly do not "know" it.

I love the self-righteous! It's fun to watch the machinizations of the "holy". Let's go pop off another chickenhead for Christ Smile

I thought Passover was a GOOD thing? (Except for Egyptians, of course.)

It was a rough night for your basic 1 year old Egyptian kid!!

Please stop this! This is a thread for prayer for the troops!

If you want to trash God, the troops, Bush, or whatever, please start your own thread and do it elsewhere.

Do you hope you never do see God or you don't care one way or the other?

MA, I am uncertain of the "authority" by which you are attempting to boss people around.

Traditionally, most people respect the wishes of the originator of a thread, if THEY express concern about a thread going off topic.

I do not believe you originated this thread, did you?

If you wish to influence people, I suggest that your tantrums will not be effective.

You might, if you wished, attempt to exert a quiet influence by posting in what you believe to have been the spirit of this thread, and ignoring what you consider to be off thread posts.

Or not.

Shrugs.

What the INTENDED purpose was, I do not think either you or I actually know...though we appear to have somewhat differing beliefs about it.

Okay, the moderators are not going to do anything about this thread.

This is what I suggest, if someone gets off topic of prayer for the troops, please just ignore that post and poster.

Those of you that really want this to be about the troops, I urge you to keep posting your prayers only and to stay completely on topic. I will see to it that I do the same.

But, MA, "supporting the (US) troops" & waving the (US) flag is political. God has nothing to do with it, as far as I'm concerned.

There will be no such meetings. No need to get worked up over it.

Aargh!!!

Do you think, MA, we have eager moderators just hovering over their moderator buttons?

It may well be that no mod (they have lives I believe) will see your report for some time.

But your current plan of action is likely to be a more productive one.
