There you go again, MA. It's
all about the US, isn't it?
Our troops need sanity too no?
Armed conflict has to weigh heavily on the hearts and minds of soldiers.
My grandfather served many years in WW2 came home weighing 75lbs at 6'2 with a back that was broken twice and caught malaria in Africa.
He came to his home and knocked on the door and was asked..."can I help you sir"
No one in the family even recognized him! He taught me much and was an atheist for years. He told me about friends of his who were in literal pieces spread around and yet still crying out to him for help.
The whole thing messed him up. Being an atheist he agreed to pray with his fallen friends while they lay in his arms. He did this because of the compassion he had for them.
Prayer is never meant as an insult....it is an act of compassion and caring.
If a person ever does offer to pray for another as an insult...God help them.
