Which sentence contains repetitious words that should be left out?
A. The bright star is visible.
B. The bright star is visible to the eye.
C. The star was visible centuries ago.
D. The star will soon disappear.

"to the eye" might be redundant, in B., but it would not be redundant if it read "The bright star is visible to the naked eye."
