Oh yeah! ...and at the end he saves the day, gets the girl, kicks the Arabs, I mean badguys assess, and rides off!
Snood, no ..... the one where he saves Xmas by liberating the Falkans and stabilizng nutmeg prices assuring a supply for his ever growing addiction ..... maybe I've said too much ...
Names were changed .... did you ever hear of the 'eggnog brief'?
CLEAR EVIDENCE OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION FOUND!!!
(in the back yard)
Quote:Because of his work on a covert U.S. plan to construct a mobile germ plant for training purposes, a scientist came under suspicion for the 2001 anthrax attacks.

And hell....for the fun of it....
Bushism
I heard Blix characterized what they've found so far as "debris".
I beg your pardon? Debris? What language is that? We in the Bush administration do not at this time eat French cheese. Period. It's a question of patriotism.
"Debris of mass destruction"...coming soon to a White House press release near you.
a
I believe the correct word is hubris ..... sheesh
Remember the Maine
Gulf of Tonkin
Imminent threat of WoMD
Caster beans from Hell
Brilliant quote from Blix
"It is somewhat of a paradox that you can be 100% sure that WMD exist but have 0% certainty about where they are".
A paradox=two physicians
Ergo, Blix is saying that even two physicians--for those who have worked in the medical industry, a reference to the most clueless and helpless professionals who ever gouged anyone for services rendered by others--know this is a sham.
Altogether, a crushing indictment . . .
Did he really say that ??

Bush invites ire for taunts to Iraqi fighters

TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ THURSDAY, JULY 03, 2003 12:08:41 PM ]
WASHINGTON: US President George Bush stoked controversy at home on Wednesday by taunting Iraqi fighters to throw what they have at American troops while promising a harsh response even as India continued to seek clarifications from US officials about possible Indian troops deployment in Iraq.
In language that echoed some of the slangy expressions he has used before, a testy Bush extended his hand and challenged "bring 'em on," while asserting that US forces in Iraq are "plenty tough" to deal with the persistent attacks that have claimed scores of American troops since the war ended.
The Texan President has often used such colloquialisms, most notably when he said he wanted Osama bin Laden "dead or alive" and that he would "smoke the Taliban out of their caves."
The latest display of machismo by the President set off a firestorm of rebuke, with some Democrats charging that he was inviting an attack on US troops.
"I am shaking my head in disbelief," New Jersey Democrat Senator Frank Lautenberg said. "When I served in the Army in Europe during World War II, I never heard any military commander -- let alone the commander-in-chief -- invite enemies to attack US troops." Presidential candidate Richard Gephardt said he had heard "enough of the phony, macho rhetoric" from Bush.
And the Oscar for the best performance in a negative role goes to......
What he meant to say was 'bring em on, if you need me I'll be in Alabama'.

More often than not, Gelisgesti, you have EXACTLY the right response!!
a
Wouldn't that make a great campaign T shirt?
'bring em on, if you need me I'll be in Alabama'
I was two rooms away from the radio so can't be sure of this, but I think I just heard W being referred to as Wile E. Coyote.
