I tell you Wanda, there are some pretty witty and intelligent people on these threads.
Some have the most delightful senses of humor too!

Quite true, Intrepid. I'm not sure that even if they found concrete proof it would do all that much good. I think no matter what, some will never choose to believe.
I know MA, I think it would take for God to come down himself and say,
"BOO!"

Wanda,
I believe there are those that could look God in the face and still deny Him. What do you think Lucifer did?

Did any of you grow up with no religion or faith and then found it when you got a little older, or were you all raised Christian?

So true.
He had it all. But it still wasn't enough.

echi,
To answer your ?, it seems like I've believed in The Lord for as long as I can remember. My parents didn't go to church.
I went with my aunt later on in life, but now I go on my own.
I can't explain 'why' the decision in a manner that would make any sense tho. Hmm...
I've had many experiences with the Holy Spirit that not many would understand. He sure let me know he was there! Let's put it that way.
Good question.

Experiences of faith can never be explained to someone. They can only understand when they have had them.

Thanks, other one. Here's another one.
What's the reason that God and the Spirit are always thought of as males? Wouldn't God be gender-neutral?

Well, God is referred to being the Father in the Bible. I think that makes it pretty clear.

But that doesn't seem kinda weird to you? I mean does God have a male body? What could make God a male?
