Shpatatoonga: A placeholder used in speech to fill uncomfortable, awkward silences while thinking of a way to change the subject.
Example:
Person A: Wow, this is a great place you've picked for our first date, Roger. I really like the decor, and the food is delicous.
Person B: Really? You think so? Actually, I didn't realize they had changed owners. I used to come here when it was a bestiality and S&M dungeon.
Person A: ...
Person B: ...Shpatatoonga!
What a cool word, huh?! Now I wonder in what other situations this word might come in handy...
Warrior cry at the sight of more incredibly hot potato patties for hurling at the enemy...
Heeheehee...yes, I can see that as an alternate definition.
shi'itake
I can't believe anyone would actually eat something with a name like that. But, then...the advertisers managed to sell some Americans on something actually called Muselix. Incredible.
