i have seen proof.
like this lady at the church we go to has been cured of cancer three times.
That is proof of doctors and medicine, not god. Unless she magically prayed away the cancer, in which case it means she didn't pray hard enough.
I have a friend who believes that god is going to fix her teeth for her if she prays enough. She has a mouth full of brown nubs...
I type, too, stupid.
But I never make misteaks.
okay i can't answer all you questions but i will answer some.frist the lady at my church is cured from cancer.the pasters wife hade a uncureable diseases and the next trip to the doctor it was gone.evil may have this world but the next it will not have.
partyjohn,
You have opened a can of worms here. Just stick to what you believe. You have every right to those beliefs, just as these others have their right to their beliefs or non-beliefs.
But, they probably won't make it easy on you.
okay i can't answer all you questions but i will answer some.first the lady at my church is cured from cancer.the pasters wife hade a disease that could not be cured and the next trip to the doctor it was gone.evil may have this world but the next it will not have.
And, remember what I said about losing parts of your brain.
The Cancer specialist at the local hospital cured a lady I know.
We have set up a shrine to him, and now call him God the father. Some people are thinking of following in the footsteps of his son.

Well, what do you mean by cured? Again, it could be in remission, which is not the same as cured.
Secondly, what diesease did she have that was incurable?
John - what you claim may be true, but it does not prove that God did it. Your faith leads you to believe God did it, there is no proof. Like I said before - do not confuse faith with fact.
When a Muslim straps a bomb to his body and blows people up, he believes he will rise to heaven and be attended by a horde of virgins. That is his faith, we have no proof that it is fact.

i can't spell it.
Spell it the way it sounds. Someone will get it. And you didn't answer my first question.
Prove it.
I could tell you I'm a wealthy Nigerian and want to give you money - would you just believe me or would you want proof?
OK, I'm sorry for any disparaging remarks.
I looked at the website in your profile, pj,and believe you are sincere.
So, prove to me that faith healing is a defining attribute of true Christians today.
question: why reject jesus, what do you have to lose?
answer: my freedom to be me, i'm basically a good guy, give to charities, help people if they need it, try not to be a complete dick, but i also like alot of things that probably don't fit into a quote unquote christian lifestyle, so i choose to live a good life and take my chances if i'm wrong c'est la vie
