Quote:How many Canadians sow an American flag onto their knapsacks when traveling overseas? Thousands of Americans carry little Canadian flags on their luggage. Sounds almost like a joke.
I am amused by all this; the hatred is in your camp.
Thousands of Americans want to
live in Canada. .... We call them "liberals."
That
was a joke.
I don't think its a joke . . . i agree with them . . . the food is really inexpensive, except for the cheese and the seafood . . .
Them Canajuns, they would never go in for all those crass decals them 'Mericans plaster all over their cars . . .
Taken all in all, one can assert that Canajuns show much better taste when it comes to patriotic expression . . .

They're all very polite, though . . . i'm sure the Northwest Mounted Police said please and thank you as they herded Afrikaner men, women and children off to the concentration camps in South Africa in 1901 . . .

We've just had the biggest explosion in Europe since WW2 and now this, its too much. Unfart I beg you.
Don't get on your high horse with me, Mr. Mountie, you jokers only got that red coat after Victoria decided to be well pleased with your performance in the Boer War . . .

Yeah ? ! ? ! ? Tell 'em that in Somalia, and then explain to me why the airborne regiment was disbanded . . .
No, Mr. Mountie, prior to the Boer War, the organization was known as the Northwest Mounted Police and had been assembled originally to beat some good, old-fashioned Protestant fear of god into the metis in Manitoba. One of Victoria's last official acts was to designate them the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and to allow them to replace their blue tunics with a scarlet tunic.
For those who wish to know more about
the Canadian Airborne Regiment in Somalia . . .
Below, we see a Canadian paratrooper teaching manners to a Somali lad . . .
Titled by one reporter as "Canada's Least Funny Home Videos".
You know, there's a war on drugs, a war on terror, a war on christmas. There really really ought to be a war on war.

and quite right too, who ever heard of blue mounties?
I thought the video they made of the torture and murder of the Somali kid would be a bit much for this venue, so i didn't link it . . .
I could not agree more, Mr. Mountie, about the necessity to end wars . . .
Somalia was a very dark episode for Canada. It destroyed the great admiration for the Canadian peace keepers worldwide.
The regiment was immediately disbanded; but the damage was done.
Whatever happended to the US troops in Somalia?
