Many obese children could get NON-ALCOHOLIC STAETO-HEPATITIS (NASH)where excess fat or sugar scars the liver,doctors are already seeing cases in England.
This probably has to do with fattening in general (which happens in all organs). Or is actually functional liver tissue getting lost?
Do you have any links to the medical stats on this matter? It seems like an interesting subject and the basic theory if correct can only be the tip of the iceberg since people are becoming more sedentary all the time which leads in the long run to more obesity.
Will have to keep my eyes and ears open on this one...
