"Per aspera ad astra"

does it mean "through the thorns to the stars"????

if not can you please tell me what the latin for that is pleeease?!

i would translate your phrase to me "through exstrem adversity to victory " but thats my interpitation of something trying to be said..."through the thorns to the stars" would be to me more like" per ab spineus ad ab stellans"
