depends on who ya talk to re whether judgemental is ok or not. Quite naturally I don't have links at hand, though I've seen enough data somewhere to let me feel free to use the e...

I do it not because I revere one set of rules over another perhaps more loosely compiled, but because I like the looks of the word better with the e.

Both the American Heritage Dictionary and Webster's Third New International Dictionary offer the "e" as an alternate spelling. I don't have the OED handy.
