This is mostly out of curiosity. I am not overly concerned. I would just like to hear if anyone else has experienced this and how to get rid of 'em.

I don't have any disease or take drugs. So, my shakes aren't from that.

I just shake a lot. It is weird. I will be sitting or whatever; and my hands and arms will be shaking and trembling. It is a little embarassing. Mainly annoying. Sometimes it feels as though the shaking is coming from in my back and shoulders. People can visibly see my shoulders shaking and I can't stop it. Even when someone wraps their arms around me and holds me, I keep trembling. People have thought I am angry or scared: but I don't feel that way. It is just my body that is not cooperating!

Has this happened to anyone else; and what can I do about it?

Tremor symptoms could have all kinds of causes - anywhere
from Stress to Parkinson's. I think you should consult a
neurologist to find out, and the sooner the better.

Really? I didn't think it was serious enough for a trip to the neurologist. Maybe I am wrong.

I would not waste time flushd - if you have involuntary
tremors than this is clearly a neurological disfunction, and
the sooner you see a specialist/neurologist the better.

Okay. Thank you. I won't be stubborn in this case.

Just find out by going to the doctor. It probably is nothing, but it's better to be sure. I have a friend who has had some sort of shaking all of her adult life.

Shakes
Could be cogenital shakes - anyone else in your family have them? But a neurologist is a good idea, just to put your mind at ease, if nothing else. That is assuming you can get an appointment with one before you die of old age.

flushd,

Another cause of shakes like this in arms and legs can come from a pinched nerve, especially in the back or neck. But, I am with Calamity Jane and littlek, see a doctor.
