You would be surprised at the respect they extend to crazy people.
Roger - just love it!

Misti, I'm rather well considering the fact that I stayed up late watching the lightning dance across the sky. There was not a breath of wind, and I started checkin' out my safe room in case of a tornado.

And did a tornado hit you, Letty? Thank gosh that we don't have them here! We just have shitty weather, it'll leave your house standing, but it'll bore ya to death...

Hey, BD. No, a tornado didn't materialize, but the conditions were right. Several years back a huge Kansas type funnel hit a big section of Kissimee, and took out a campground, among other things.
I love your observation about boring weather.

Hi there, you girls in Florida! And we miss you!
I talked to a lady on the phone the other day. She also works as an admin assistant and she and her boss are not in the same city either - like me and my boss. Her boss is in Minneapolis and she is south of Orlando! Now that sounds like something I could do with !!!!!! I will suggest that to my boss!

That would be great Urs., keep reminding him of how well you do under the Florida sun, maybe he'll get tired of hearing it and let you go:)

I was out in a blueberry field yesterday, picking away, and all of a sudden, I heard thunderboomers. I had to leave with only 1/2 the berries that I wanted, and as soon as I left the field, and went on the road, it started to rain.
Maybe I will try again next weekend!

Been in Gainesville for three weeks working on a retirement/assisted living compound being built by the Univ. of Fla. The town is rather quiet with the 40,000 odd students away but there's still a lot to do. Miss everyone since I can't post from the local Kinko's for some odd reason.

Nice to hear from you Panzade ... Gainesville is a nice town, but a ghost town when the students are on holiday.
Next time you're home, give us a call, maybe we can get together!

Probably just as well you didn't try it in your layover in Yeman, Margo. I'm not at all sure how far they go with that "Touched by the finger of Allah" business.
