And guess what. My boss is flying to Orlando next Sunday for a week of vacation with his son. I told him so much about Cocoa Beach that he decided to go there. Well, I didn't think about hurrican season when I recommended it. Oh, he will be fine!
Lakewood!? Law-zee. When I lived in Denver (20 some years ago), Lakewood was where you went to see people dress funny, practice their lingo, and generally impress each other with their Vietnam heroics. Most of them would have been about 12 years old when graduating from Special Forces school.
I have an idea. Between now and then, watch lots of John Wayne movies and practice the Texas accent and mannerisms. Let them understand you are moving up from Midland, Texas, because you can't stand all the liberals. Do not worry about convincing them. Don't worry about convincing them.
