This article will likely soon fall behind the New York Review of Books membership-only wall, so I am pasting it in its entirety. While the article remains up, it may be easier on the eyes to read it HERE

It is my opinion that what Massing details here presents the foremost danger to a functioning independent press and to open democracy in the United States.

To those who wish to comment or dispute Massing's article or any subsequent comments by a2k members, I ask that you read the piece carefully and completely.
