Lumpy arm query

Im sure this is nothing but just thought Id ask.

For a few days Ive felt like Ive had a bruise on my arm, but there is nopurpley/blue bruise mark, nothing at all.
Ive just been 'prodding' it and it feels like there is a lump underneath it, only a little low one.

Any ideas what it could be?

I don't, but your doctor would. Take it from someone who knows. Never ignore a bump the cause of which you don't know. It is probably nothing, but you won't know that, until it is checked out. And it could be "something"!

Im sure its my imagination, it cant be seen from the outside, only if I run my hand with a but of pressure over my arm, I can feel it if I concentrate.
If it doesnt go tis week il do something about it.

Ok, I'm less concerned now. But if it continues, it might be wise to ask a doctor.

I had the same exact thing you are describing, in the same exact location as a matter of fact.

I went to a general surgeon about it and he told me that it was just a mass of veins and fatty tissue, but nothing to be too concerned about. He let it be for a while until i told him i wanted it to be taken out because it bothered me when i leaned my arm against my desk. So it was a simple 5 minute procedure in his office. He numbed the arm, cut it open, took the lump out (looked pretty cool) and stitched me up...no big deal.

Now, im no doctor so i would still suggest you go see a general surgeon/dermatologist as well about the lump, just to be on the safe side.

Sounds like that scene in Terminator 2 when he cuts his arm open.

Bruise feeling has gone, lumpy bit not there anymore.

Thanks for info tho.

Glad it's gone!!

I have a similar lump, just at the top of my pelvic bone, feels sort of like a hard-ish lump, only a few mm across, and doesn't move. Very odd.
