most of my friends are wired, not weird...
Mostly due to the most recent responses to this thread, I started to wonder about the word "weird." Here's what i discovered:
When Macbeth referred to the witches on the heath as the "weird sisters", he was not being insulting; he was being etymological and innovative at the same time. The phrase weird sisters originally referred to the Fates, the three women of classical myth who controlled the destiny of each individual person. The phrase was also extended to include women who prophesied or possessed other attributes of the Fates. Weird by itself was a noun that originally meant "fate" or "destiny," pure and simple, and in medieval times the word was used to translate paxca, the Latin word for "Fate." This use of weird lost currency during the modern period, surviving primarily in the phrase "weird sisters," where it was interpreted as an adjective. The great prestige of Shakespeare preserved this use of weird, which was extended to its current meaning of "odd, bizarre or of an inexplicable nature" by 19th century poets and writers.

IT IS NOT WEIRD AT ALL!!!! IT MAY NOT BE 100% "NORMAL", but not weird....
weird is when people microwave their cats thinking that they were really microwaving a bagel and then they eat it with cactus and some raisnettes,
now that is weird!!!
My psychatrist said I wasn't weird, so it must be everyone else.
