Well, it's about 20 miles in between... but I suppose for buzzing around's sake; I could fly between Milwaukee and Madison and backtrack to get to them...

I would estimate there is about a 17.5% chance.

Yesterday I made braised sausages, with onion, apple, and sultanas.
With that we had new potatoes and greens.
The sausages were Sainsbury's special Aberdeen-Angus beef ones.

It was lovely.

How do you recognise a Scotsman in the kitchen?

He's the one who turns off the gas under the frying pan while he turns the bacon rashers over.

I have the Party Room reserved for us on May 7th from noon to midnight.

I will need names for the guest list as the day approaches, and please PM me for the address of my building.

Street parking is available but may require some searching, valet parking is provided at a cost (will get back with the exact rates of the building) and public transportation is fairly close.

If anyone needs more info PM me or ask in the other thread.

Sublime, I was wondering if you have started the guest list yet? If so have I been put on the guest list? I would also appreciate it if you could PM me the address of your building. Thanks

So far the only names I have on the guest list are Walter, Bill, Mac11 and Yitwail. Just send me a PM with your name and you will be added.

Last night I lightly fried a skinless, boneless salmon steak, then flaked it into pieces, then poured over it two eggs beaten with milk and herbs, cooked all in the pan, then served on toast.

It was lovely.

From day to day it gets more difficult to (re-) find the infos this threa in ANNOUNCEMENTS (sic!) was origianálly started.

Joe mentioned the "Pocket Guide to Chicago Architecture" - it's well worth the money, I'd like to add. Excellently written informations (and nicely done illustrations).
