You should be. Munich locals have no mercy for a stranded Prussian such as yourself.
That's the reason why I decided to stay not longer than 1 h 5 min there.

I do not understand why Walter is not using the airport at Dusseldorf. Isn't that closer to where he lives?
My local airport is just 15 minutes away, free parking and regular flights (besides to London and Manchester  ) to Munich and Francfurt (on return from Albuquerque)
walter correctly spelled "albuquerque," groovy, not many US citizens can do that.
Alburquerque, if you believe Rudolfo Anaya.
Or Doñ Francisco Cuervo y Valdé
I thought it was Albaturkey?
Have to be in Sweden for them Chicago dates...
my side of town is called Albaturkey.
John Wayne passed through on the way to Hollywood, and it's been called Duke City ever since.
I previously reported that I would be out of town during the week prior to the get-together weekend. Well, it looks like my plans have changed, and I won't be going out of town. So, for those who will be arriving that week, I'll be available to do fun and interesting things.

Well that sounds much better than viewing on HMRK
Walker, Texas Ranger or even
MASH - so:
HERE, I'm there!

Isn't
Walker, Texas Ranger on German television 24 hours a day? Or is that only reruns of
ALF and
Eine schreckliche nette Familie?
(speaking of which, you can visit the "Bundy Fountain" while you're in Chicago)
Really folks, just scroll. Don't even comment. He's only here because you keep noticing him.
Only six weeks to the big weekend!

yeah we can feel it a bit warmer over here already. Thanks its been bloody cold.
Steve, Now that you mention it, we are a bt warmer here in Northern California too!
I figured I'd probably take my gas-guzzling old Benz to Chicago, but the damn thing won't pass the emissions test, so I'd pretty much decided to put it on Ebay (I can assume it's not worth the cost of fixing, what with more than 250,000 on it.) Suddenly I feel inspired. Perhaps I'll just register it in Walworth County instead. There's no emissions tests there. Hmmmm. Yep, that buzzing is annoying, so if it doesn't go away perhaps I'll just do that. We can take pictures of us, just tooling around in it to post on A2K when I return!
Since I'll be driving back and forth between restaurants all summer long, I'm thinking maybe it's time to trade in the old F-150 as well. Does anyone know if you can get a gasoline powered CTX?
Bill, have you considered investing in a small airplane, or would the distance between restaurants not merit such a purchase?
