I'm well into A People's History, Zinn offers a very interesting perspective on things - one that I think is not often studied (concentrating less on the victors and more on the smaller groups and people in history). I know people have strong opinions on him... Thoughts?

Howard Zinn is the Erich van Daniken of history . . . if it entertains you, by all means read it. Don't try to pass it off as history, though . . .

haven't read Dr. Zinn, but there's a documentary about him on the Sundance Channel tonite. maybe i'll have some thoughts to share after watching it.
