Except for #4, I'm in. Now if I could buy that one, the whole experience would be less stressful. But I keep on doing it anyway.

But I'll never get around to looking up the answer to the pass question, so that keeps me out.

Oh, well.

Good for you Stradee.

Had a close call last night, but the potted wild petunia on the deck still lives. Tonight will be a different story.

O,my,Stradee -what weather! I'm with you, Sumac.Just got my last potted plant into the house.Potted? That ain't the word. All my potted plants get PLANTED for the summer and unplanted and into pots for the winter.
Well, that's finally done and now I'm off to an early start of Thanksgiving in Connecticut with the littleies. First(tomorrow) I'm going to a wrestling match in New York to watch my young friend(well, young, 34 - that's young). If she wins, she has a shot at the Olympics. Cheer with me!

pwayfarer, cheering for your buddy! and wishing yours and sumacs potted plants a happy indoor winter. Smile

ehBeth, send snow to Tahoe! Not a storm cloud in site, and ski season begins during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Beautiful weather, more yard work to accomplish, kittens panicking cause the gardners removing pine needles from the roof...<eek>

will click this afternoon..........

Hi there stradee!

The snow melted today, but it stayed pretty brisk outside.

After a shopping excursion, Setanta and I took the dogs down to the beach for a run. As usual, Cleo dipped her petticoat into the lake for a quick rinse and swish. The water was cold enough that she didn't stay in and play - but she had to have her little dip. They both enjoyed the run-out, and it was fun to be out there with them in the wind and sun <first day I've really had to wear a hat out there>.

ehBeth, sounds like you all had a wonderful day! Very Happy

Gardner said Mr. Silver Birch recovering well - new sprinklers installed - and next week we're checking for an underground systems leak. <sigh> If it isn't one thing...but the good news is the lawns are also recovering from the summers heat wave, and the deer <bless their little hooves> dined on the clover that had taken over one section of the lawn area. So now all i gotta do is feed the lawns just when the rainly season begins <if ever> the rest of the yards landscaping fed and ready for winter also. Hurray!

Ya know, Beth -- <whispering so the kittens don't hear> I miss outings with the dogs. Cats are wonderful, but they do not enjoy running on waterway sand bars, or chasing frisbees. ok, so they do hide jewlery - and we have hunting expeditions that are hilarious - deserving of many smooches and hugs Right now the little faces sitting by the office door waiting for dinner. Very Happy I haven't given up yet though. I'm determined that at least one of the kittens becomes proficient at "fetch".

<smiling at the thought of Mz Bella carrying the Sunday newspaper> Smile
