Atheists... Your life is pointless

John Creasy i'm not going to bash you , everyone has their own kind of belief
though i'm pretty certain if you didn't have your god, you would be one of the few believers that somehow would become killers an rapists or something awful
So i'm pretty glad you have your god, because YOU need him.

I for one, do not need him, never have.
You don't need to believe in "God" to be a good person. it should be common sense to be a good person, because being a bad one would... make you feel bad?

Its not pointless just because you're not the almighty special important race that will someday die to go to heaven and frolic in the clouds.
To me, that is absurd.
and i would much rather live my life the way i please, being a good person.
Than believe in some unforgiving monster that is responsible for the death of countless innocent people in the past. (Even recorded in the old testament)
Don't give me the whole "the old testament doesnt matter" bologne.
How in the hell does it not matter? If it is gods word.
Than shouldn't it be more important than anything to you? haha.

I won't get to big into this discussion. but i will say one thing.
Are you so vain that you would like to live forever.
And have everything that you wan't all the time by the snap of your finger?

If you've lived long enough in this world.
You would know that when you receive something after wanting it for so long
you're filled with great joy and happiness.
But you eventually get bored of it, and desire something else.
That is human nature. hell, that is ANIMAL nature.

So take what i said there. and think about this. i know its complicated
but you know, bare with me.

If you were in heaven, Living for eternity with god.
Do you not think that you would get bored of receiving EVERYTHING
you could possibly ever desire or want. for eternity?
I don't know about you.. but i definitely would stop thinking of things i could want before like 1000 years passed.
(which by the way is nothing at all compared to the universes age)
And i would eventually get very bored.
VERY BORED.
Infact, you would become so bored that it might be considered a hell.
you wouldnt be happy on receiving anything, because you've already had it a zillion times am i right?

Just think about it [:
I'm perfectly happy with my 80 years or so of living.
And i truly am scared of dying. but not because of whats after.
If i died and there was a god, i might think that is worse than rotting in a box
because honestly, i don't want to be saved by god when he has sinned more than myself.

Well I had to re watch that video to see your point of view because what I had in mind was an innocent kiss on the cheek. All joking aside, I have a close love one that is gay and I was very hard on him because of my own ignorance. I find it rather strange how people's perceptions about "other" people can turn into some sort of "that's better than x" kind of argument.

I approve of gay and lesbian marriage and love. That means it's okay by me that they kiss in public - if they don't over do it. I feel uncomfortable when heteros kiss too long in public places.

Fortunately, I don't see too much of either.

Oh, and one more thing. I think it's okay to have a longer kiss during a wedding ceremony than just a peck.

I am not offended by a kiss. they can kiss all they want in public, as long as they don't take of their pants and get down low & dirty in public. That's for a private setting, and not appropriate in the public. same w/ a hetero couple.

I have to agree but only because I would like to think of us humans as a higher species than other animals. Not that I am right but it how I see it.
