Wolfgang Von Goethe.

How is Goethe pronounced and are there any similar names in German which are pronounced differently.

Thanks

'Goethe' actually is pronounced as it should be: 'oe' = (Umlaut) 'รถ', 'th' for a long 't'.

('Th' in German isn't pronounced like the English 'th' at all, see the article Wikipedia. There's an explanation about Umlaut as well.)
