I dunno, straight booze is hard for the body or taste buds to absorb in big chugs - perhaps a reasonable warning...

Sipped zillion dollar single malts of advanced years, yes.
Similar bourbons, yes.

I don't get gins and vodkas, flavorized after purification...
sort of like lab alcohol, which I admit has a punch in punch.

I don't know old tequilas, or much of old brandies. I have liked a tiny glass of very expensive calvados, and a larger glass of less expensive calvados.

The whole thing of getting wonky is in the way...
sipping actually works for pleasure without engaging the blotto routine so familiar to us all.

Sorry to get on soap box but so many are so anti booze and so many who like it use it for obliteration-skits.
That leaves people who appreciate good booze but don't overdo it in some kind of at the net situation.

Real martinis are too strong for me, but I love those beautiful martini glasses. Now Slappy comes along with a fabulous chocolate, raspberry martini.
Perfect!!

Chambourd is heaven in a bottle, by the way.

Actually, you're supposed to open the bottle of vermouth for five minutes in front of your martini. That's dry enough.

c.i.'s dry martini and a blue steak = paradise

Martini, anyone?
No no and again NO! The more vermouth you have the more English it is, but not the more dry.

Never had a Martini in my life! LOL

Now give me a shot of Tequilla, with a shot of Rum, throw in some juice and I have a good drink!
