Drapes, and chocolatinis.
You're a girl, Slappy.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Maybe you really are Richard Simmons.
What kinda perfume do you wear?

Hahahaha...Slappy's a girl. I just cracked a BEER!
And I've got 2 women FLYING to come see me, who I just met less than 2 weeks ago.
Yes, I pee sitting down. But that's only because I'm never sober enough to do it standing.
I'm a man's man.
By the way, you should see how the new bathroom came out. It's like, to DIE FOR, girlfriend.

Kicky,
If you even try to order a Martini in Rochester, you will get roughed up. Get used to Utica Club beer and like it.

Ha, you're probably right, LionTamer. I guess I should get this out of my system before I leave.
Actually though, it will probably be this beer that I'm going to have to get used to.
Oh yeah, that's the stuff...

I don't know. I haven't kept up with the Genny beer juggernaut since I've been away. I have a feeling that is still around though.
Aaah, the memories that silly blue can brings back...

I think there is confusion on martinis. Or martini.
The perfect martini has oft been descibed as a breath or a mere drop or a wipe or a drop and a wipe, of vermouth. More vermouth equals less dry, whether or not the vermouth is high end (is there?) or not. And if it is sweet, as in such things as Rosso whatsit, well... never mind. Those drinks can be good but they are not dry.
Dry is very mere and very very cold.

Thanks, Osso, that's what I thought -- Less vermouth is More dry. My friend once told me I make the perfect vodka martini...
Keep vodka, vermouth, old-fashioned glass in the freezer. Put six or seven olives in the bottom of the glass. Pour in about three fingers of Stoli. Shake the vermouth bottle, take the cap off, and drop it into the glass. Fish it out with clean fingers and serve the drink...

Nice description.
I who can deal with single malt scotch for a time get upchucky at vodka and gin. I think they're all swell in moderation.
Moderation is all, or else you're/we're treating alcohol as a kind of gasoline.

Actually, you're supposed to open the bottle of vermouth for five minutes in front of your martini. That's dry enough.

OK, CI and I understand each other on this matter.
