Her courageousness will live on forever.
I was just listening to a segment about this lady on my radio (it was a relay of NPR). She was a very brave woman. It must have been very lonely for her there.
She had to have a strong will to concentrate on her studies in the face of turmoil.
Edgar: I was just about to post a thread honoring her. I'm glad somebody else beat me to it.
That she spoke to Wallace at the end of her life and forgave him speaks to her courage.
The "schoolhouse door," Foster Auditorium, is exactly four blocks away from where I now sit.
