Does anyone know how John Cabot affected the government, people, ideas, geography, and economy of the time? What ideas, inventions, or contributions were made because of him? What did people think of his expeditions? How was the society affected? How did the geography of the world affect his travels? ect.

Why not google him? Giovanni Cabotto sailed under the British flag and anglicized his name. I'm sure that if you type the English version of the name into the Google window, you'll get more hits than you can handle.
