I think that would be a bad move.

The ties that bind China, Russia and Iran

Quote:
To China and Russia, Washington's "democratic reform program" is a thinly disguised method for the US to militarily dispose of unfriendly regimes in order to ensure the country's primacy as the world's sole superpower. The China-Iran-Russia alliance can be considered as Beijing's and Moscow's counterpunch to Washington's global ambitions. From this perspective, Iran is integral to thwarting the Bush administration's foreign policy goals. This is precisely why Beijing and Moscow have strengthened their economic and diplomatic ties with Tehran. It is also why Beijing and Moscow are providing Tehran with increasingly sophisticated weapons.

freedom4free, sure it would be a real bloodbath. But it has long been part of the new American century neo-con plan. Yes China and Russia are paying close attention.

In Iraq, we invaded a country based on lies. We invaded a country that (as we can see now) clearly posed no imminent threat to us.

Then we followed up that unbelievable error--the worst a president can make, short of starting WW III--by an utterly incompetent occupation, that seems designed to maximize resentment and hatred toward us.

We would never get world support to attack Iran, too many US/Iranian lives would be lost, the world would hate us.

freedom, true but the world already hates us and overwhelmingly opposed the invasion of Iraq. That never stopped the Bushies.

"Well i hope either God or Impeachment is on our side." Yup. Could be a big bunch of indictments coming. No indictments would be a green light and a thumbs up to Bushie.
