What is the right position fo the dick in the underwear

Hi all this seems a some what taboo topic but it is important.
How do you usually place your dick in the underwear/briefs.
Is it upwards or leave it loose down. The swimming coaches seem to give a different technique and the body building coaches another........
So, what do u men feel is the right method of placing the dick in the underwear or simplely should i put it as wearing an underwear?

I understand that formulating a question with the right words can be difficult. Many of us share that difficulty, as seen by the a2k topic titles.

On the other hand, having gotten pages of answers, why would you ask it the second time?
