How long did the marriage last?

Still going strong - they kinda of deserve each other. I just hope they don't breed.

I'm going to be Richard Simmons.

Surely I'll be beating the ladies off with a stick.

I don't mean to malign your friend, GW, but anybody who'd make their bridesmaids wear black lace corsets has a bit of a problem with respect for weddings themselves.

IM(NSH)O, of course.

I mean, assuming she wore (virginal) white, what were the rest of you supposed to be...whores?

At weddings, symbolism is everything.

Besides, it wasn't the wedding you didn't respect. It was the dress. And I don't blame you!

Only the corset was black. The rest of the fluffy concoction was a deep rose color. The sleeves could have housed a family of four and I could have hid Rhett Butler under the skirt. She wore an off-white puffy thing and carried dark pink roses (dyed I think) the color of our dresses. I never said it was tasteful.

If the Bride and the Groom breed and turn into a Mommie and a Daddy the poor child is going to be blamed for a great deal of disrespect every time the kid tries to become an individual rather than a reflection.

May their lifestyle be too expensive to support babies.

The worst part is they have a giant group photo of the bridal party standing in front of the New Jersey Bar Mitvah Palace hanging in their office (they are lawyers). I look very cranky and next to me is the ring bearer, a cute little six year old boy, who seems to have his finger up his nose (it actually wasn't, it's just the angle). Why would someone hang that shot on their office wall?

No kids in the making - they live for themselves. In her favor I will add that she is a real good lawyer.

I appreciate the fact that you're trying to soften the image, GW, but really. Any dress that could be turned into a dominatrix outfit that easily is definitely NOT appropriate for a wedding party!!!

However, I'm sure it will make an absolutely perfect Halloween costume.

Your friend should simply go as herself. That's scary enough.

Better to immortalize the wedding than to hand down the genes.

I will be going as "Satanta Claus," an evil Santa. I have ordered my suit. I figure my skinny physique will add to the demonic effect. I will paint my face white, have blood running from my eyes, wear vampire teeth. I will carry a sack full of rubber snakes.

I am going to the usual kickass party. A great new band in town called "The Shallow Graves" will be playing punk-rockabilly. My new band "Female Trouble" (devil horns), might open. If so, I'll be one sweaty Satanta.

That's a cool idea. I wanted to go as a psycho clown with the blood and what not last year, but ended up being Spongebob Squarepants. Close enough.

I'd like to go as a Egyptian this year(because I love Ancient Egypt so much), but I don't think I'll be able to afford the money to buy the costume. Sad

My girlfriend is going as Darth Vadar. What a ******* nerd. It's kind of funny because she's maybe a little over five feet tall.
